Mark was born May 16 1962 in Toronto, Ontario to Jean and John Schoebl and to be a brother to Garrick. His love of nature began at an early age with fishing, hiking and camping. He was an avid Boy Scout and enjoyed softball, football, track and field and wrestling. His favorite fun was playing in the valley with his friend Robbie.
His comedic abilities started at an early age in Grade 6 as “Drinkula”and with his singing ability, he was a great entertainer throughout his life.
Mark moved to mid-western Ontario where he became a bricklayer and stone mason. There, he met and married Glenda.
They moved to B.C. where he was in his element mountain biking and snowboarding. Both of his children, Luke and Sydney, were born in B.C.
Mark, Glenda and the children relocated to Barrie, Ontario to be closer to their families and friends. When he became ill 3 years ago, his true strength of character and spirit shone through. He was always devoted to his children and even coached a ball hockey team despite his illness. During this time Mark joined Emmanuel Baptist Church and found his mentor, Jesus.
God bless and lots of love and light, Mark.
